Rookwood Exchange Project

CINCINNATI - Developers of the Rookwood Exchange project announced a new element Tuesday: A luxury apartment building with concierge services and a pedestrian link to an adjacent office building. “It’s similar to how the Banks operates,” said J.R. Anderson, vice president of development at Jeffrey R. Anderson Real Estate Inc. “It’s going to be operated with a fitness club, outdoor pool, big game room, parking underneath the building.” The apartment building will cost between $17.5 million and $19 million, Anderson said. It will occupy the northern part of the 13-acre Rookwood Exchange site, which is the third phase of a retail and office development at I-71 at the Smith/Edwards Road exit. The apartments will be built on a portion of the site where Anderson previously contemplated a third hotel. Already the site has a Courtyard by Marriott hotel and Seasons 52 restaurant. Capital Grille will open in August. A parking garage and office building are under construction. Monthly rents of up to $2,000 are contemplated for the studio and one-to-three bedroom apartments, which will range in size up to 1,100 square feet. Capital Investment Group, developers of Bellevue’s SouthShore condos, will serve as leasing agents and property managers for the new building.
