The Hamilton County Auditor received the following vendor license application for the period of July 16-31:
Jen-Tex Deli's Inc., of Jason's Deli, applied for a license July 19 for limited-service eating places. The business is at 3831 Edwards Road, No. 400, Cincinnati.
The Hamilton County auditor serves as chief fiscal officer, chief assessor and chief payroll officer for the county. The office of the auditor is at 138 E. Court St., Cincinnati.



Robert P. Rompies sold a three-bedroom, one-bath home at 2217 Kenilworth Ave., in Norwood, to Daniel P. Hall for $120,000 on July 12.
The 1,550-square-foot, two-story home last sold for $114,600 in December 2009. It is located in Pleasant Ridge neighborhood of Norwood.
There have been 169 home sales in Norwood during the past 12 months with a median sale price of $80,000.


A Norwood Firefighter was placed on adminstrative leave after he was accused with domestic violence.
Sean Turner was charged with assult after police say he struck his girlfriend.
Officials with the Fire Department declined comment on the case
Turner has worked for the Fire Department since October.


New Courtyard by Marriott hotel opens in Norwood
NORWOOD, OH (FOX19) - A new hotel is now open at the Rookwood Exchange in Norwood.
The Courtyard by Marriott hotel officially opened their doors on Tuesday. The 85,000 square foot, 123 room hotel sits right off of I-71. This location makes the hotel a nice alternative to staying downtown.
The hotel offers free wireless internet for guests, a fitness room, three meeting rooms and coffee shop The Bistro.
There are about 20 guests booked to stay at the hotel Tuesday night.
