Obituary: William Teena Cannava(1923-2013)

William Teena Cannava, 89, of Norwood, died June 10.
Cannava served during World War II, was a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6979 and Disabled American Veterans. He formerly worked as staff manager with Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., and was founder of W.C. Chemical Co. and Teena Industries. He enjoyed boating and camping for more than 30 years, and later in his life he loved raising flowers, especially roses and dahlias, according to the Frederick Funeral Home website, www.frederickfh.com .
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy L. Cannava (nee Dorrmann); children, Nancy (Bob) Thomas, Donna (Jose) Madeira and Karen Bouldin; grandchildren, Robert J. ( Gigi) Thomas, Kristy (Chad) Wiggins, Grace (Ross) Cowan and Mary (Steve) Busam; and siblings, John W. Cannava, Sebastian L. Cannava and Grace Cannava.
A service was held June 15
