Norwood has several development projects up and going. Tell Norwood News and Views what you think. Here are just a sample of developments coming to a corner or street near you.
Mercy Health has a new 20 million dollar medical office building located at Edwards Road and Williams Avenue near Rookwood Pavilion. This new development is expected to bring 40 jobs into the city of Norwood. This medical building will have a free standing ER facility, primary care and cardiology services.
Rookwood Exchange is a new development that is slated to open this spring(2013). It will have a Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, 15,000 square feet of foot retail, entertainment, and office buildings. Two 9,000 square feet restaurants as well as a parking garage to accommodate 750 cars.
The Urology Group is a 55,000 square foot facility off Montgomery Road at the Norwood Lateral. It opened in August of 2012.
Messer Construction/Ackerman Group say they need federal approval for up to 40 million in new market tax credits to complete the financing for the first phase of new development at the corner of Dana and Montgomery Road. The company hopes to have on this site a XU Book Store, 400 student apartment complex, health center, and a potential hotel.
Paycor Pointe(temporary name) new Corporate Headquarters will be located at Linden Pointe. It is slated to open in the spring of 2014. This company is single resource for employee data.
