Fiance and Claim Committee Members
Keith Moore-Chairman

John Mumper
Tom Whittington

Keith Moore was not present because it was his birthday.  Happy Birthday Mr. Moore!

On the agenda were three items: City Finances, Claims, COAF Fund Release

Under claims a Norwood resident filed a claim to be reimbursement for his/her car being towed during a water main break.  They would like for the city to cover their impoundment fees.  The committee sent the claim to the Chief of Police for review.  They want to have his input to see if the City is liable.

US Bank did not find the City's Bonds that are missing.  Jim Stith explained that the City of Norwood reached a deal with US Bank about the Bonds.

Three City Employees filed for separation fees.  One person from the Tax Department and Two Firemen from the Fire Department.  Separation fee close to $10,000.00

Jim Stith basically said,"The City of Norwood, Ohio is broke".  They have no money for anything except to pay the bills.  However, they city is barley doing that.  Vendors are being held off for up to 90 days.  The City is doing all it can to keep the lights on and employees paid.

COAF money was received and put into a account.  Norwood News and Views will look into who receives this money and how it is spent.

Overall the meeting was short, sweet, and straight to the point.  The City is broke!
